PBX FEATURES:
1. Call Transfer : Dial #1 or #2.
There are two types of call transfer:
- (#2) Supervised call transfer - Where the
initial call is placed on hold, a call is placed to another
party, a conversation can take place privately before the caller
on hold is connected to the new destination.
- (#1) Blind call transfer - Where the call is
transferred to the other destination with no intervention (the
other destination could ring out and not be answered for
instance).
2. Call Parking: Dial #700
While in a conversation, press # to initiate a transfer, then dial
700. System will now announce the parking extension, most probably
7xx. Now hang up - the caller will be left on hold at the announced
extention. Walk up to a different phone, dial the extension number
that the system anounced to you! - the conversation can be
continued. If a caller has been parked for a longer time than the
specified time limit (60s) then the system will again ring the
originally dialed extension
3. Call Disconnect: Dial *0
If you want to disconnect the call without putting down the
handset just dial *0 and the call will be disconnected immediately.
4. Call Recording: Dial *1
If you want to record the call you are on you just dial *1 from your
phone and the system will start recording the call. |
